Abstract
Time” (Vaght) is a mystical concept which is common in Sufism. The writers of ancient books in Sufism have defined “Time” variously. Due to this multiplicity and sometimes poverty of definitions, the importance and place of “Time” in Mysticism and Sufism are not deservedly clear.
In this research, we have quoted from ancient resources in order to explain different definitions of time. Considering the quotes from the venerable people in Sufism, then the concept of time and importance of it in this field are scrutinized to illuminate the essential and fundamental place of “Time”.
